Another big win for our U13, who won 6-0 today to start their league campaign. With goals from Maddie N (5) and captain Rubee R (1). POM was Maddie N for excellent runs and classy finishes. We are wishing her a speedy recovery and can't wait to have her back on the pitch! It was great to see our new year 8's slotting into the team, returning players and a few new players in year 9. Well done ladies!
Well done to the U16 football team who started off their league campaign with a glorious 6-1 win against St Colmans. It was great to see key members of last year's team and younger players linking together, as well as some new faces to football. POM goes to double hat-trick scorer Maisie B, who has certainly started her captaincy with style
Year 11 and 12 took part in a meet and greet with our local residents at stepping stones sheltered housing. We all enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and a chat. We will be returning monthly to visit the residents and take part in different activities.
After studying and analysing poems by Simon Armitage, Aylvia Plath and Seamus Heaney in English, 10D marked National Poetry Day by writing some fantastic poems of their own.
